Life had changed after being diagnosed with PSC. Learning how to walk, talk, write, chew and swallow were part of life’s many challenges. The doctors, my family, friends and entire support structure was amazing.
I was a Soccer Coach, Soccer Referee, I played Soccer for my Clubs over 35 side, that was a lot of fun. I am a social guy that enjoys interacting with people and loves entertaining.
Healthy Living and a Better Lifestyle is what the new Trend is and is the way things are going. Everyone is trying their best to Live and Play Healthier!
Life was hitting its peak and I was loving it. Work was busy, my wife had recently given birth to our second child and money was not a problem. We had just bought our first home and talks about getting a pet for the kids were on the table.
Covid had just started and the hustle became very real. Living in this world is hard, living in South Africa is almost impossible but resilient is what we are and we will prosper are the beliefs and goals we hold close to our hearts.
What can I say, life was good.....
My health was good for the busy lifestyle I had, don’t get me wrong I was not at all a “fitness freak”. I was a Soccer Player, a Coach and a Referee. I was a Project Manager a Dad and a Husband. I wanted to play Soccer but I also wanted to Lose Weight. I thought I have to lose weight because I will be a better footballer.
I started eating less and doing more exercise. Work was super busy and there was always something happening. This is where things started getting hectic.
I was seeing less and less of my family and more and more of my computer screen. I would finish my work day with a cold one maybe three. Then go home eat some food and play with the kids for a bit. Not long after I was off to coaching session, referee meeting or my own training session/game.
When I got home it was shower, eat something and bed. Everyone was always already asleep.
When I went through my spell of hospitals, coloscopy bags and drains I really thought my life was going to suck.
Certain products and life style changes made it possible for me to still do the things that I love doing. My disease prevents me from digesting certain foods and drinks and without certain products made available to me, I don’t believe I would achieve some of my goals and admirations.
I would like to share my new life with you or anyone wanting to know more about this disease and how I changed my life for the better. The products that helped me along my journey and how they positively impacted my life.
As we get older, we are more susceptible to mental illness and old age ailments. We are letting people know that there are more ways of getting things done and keeping healthy at the same time. I have personally walked the walk. I have the T-shirt and want to share my experiences with the rest of the world.
